To date, 94 million glass slippers have been thrown and 94 million times Hoshiyomis wish they were assaulted by Suisei. On YT at least.

Afaik, it's the second most-viewed VTuber MV of all-time. And it's slowly catching up to Loli Kami Requiem.

Funfact: The composer of Bibidiba, Tsumiki, revealed that the short melody that plays in the first 13 seconds is actually a cut-up and mixed version of Suisei's introduction!

That Suisei altar at the back. Truly a fellow Hoshiyomi

I’m sure that’s only an altar to worship suisei and not be killed by her

Love your great analysis as always! I know next to nothing about music theory so watching why these types of music works (or sometimes not) is really really nice. To my knowledge there really is nothing close regarding this type of deep analysis content in the Vtuber music space, so much appreciated for the work and looking forward to the next ones!
@rei_hsymАй бұрын
Yep there's no one that do music analysis as deep as Ravenclaw especially on VTubers, that's why i really love her video Marcomeatball did a analysis on game music although not as deep as Ravenclaw
@raymond_cartagenaАй бұрын
Kenan Salazar Music House has a good analysis and breakdown of "Help!" by Kobo and "Chimera" by Kiara. But aside from him and RC, yeah. Mostly it's just low-effort react stuff from content creators.

Suisei and her composers experimenting and pulling some tricks like this is always a fun time. Being honest a lot of the theory still goes over my head but I catch bits and pieces and it's interesting to hear more about how the songs work that way.

I swear it didn't click that Bibbidi part was from Cinderella until you mentioned it, even though everything in the MV was hitting me in the face with it 🤣

Always nice to learn *why* I like a song so much. Also, if I ever manage to finally advance my understanding of music beyond intuitively blasting the same, tried and tested power chords on the guitar, it'll be largely thanks to you 😅 Anyway, I've been here ever since your first hololive video and watching you go from zero to a growing Suisei shrine behind your back has been very satisfying 😂

Hi. I've been waiting for your reaction to this song ever since I discovered your channel. I loved how you dissected Suisei's songs in her Specter album, so it made me anticipate how you'll do this one. The wait might have been long, but it was worth it. I got to listen to one of my fave song while hearing you affirm how good it is. Hahaha. Thanks for the satisfying vid as always. Btw, can you listen to Living In A World Without Magic by Euluca Lab?

The chorus "bibide-bobidi-boo" actually is the spell the Fairy Grandma in Cinderella used to switch the pumpkin into a carriage! Sui-chan actually talked about it on her radio show (clip). Special request of 'Planetarium' for Suisei Vocals!

Always love your analysis, i don't know much about music but it's still super insightful. I need to ask, would you be interested in analysing songs from a hard rock all female japanese band? They technically wrote aome anime songs. Every youtube musicians that reacted to them have said they are really cleaver in their writing/composing. If yes band name is Band Maid. Pick any songs, the newer the song the more complex they get.
