I really hope they do more songs, and hopefully they can get into a studio together. As lovely as this is, it still suffers from one of my biggest issues with Hololive collab songs: Everyone just keeps taking turns back and forth in the song, and they almost never ever sing together and harmonize. It’s still nice to hear both voices on the song together and they compliment each other well, but you could basically split it into two separate songs and edit them into their own individual ones with no issues. It just feels like it’s missing something when you don’t get the chance to see how their two voices blend to meet and make something perhaps even stronger than it’s individual parts. I don’t know how much is logistics, how much of it is just lack of experience by the producers, and how much is just intentional choice (I know it’s the Jpop/Kpop style to have a big group and everyone just takes turn to highlight each member individually), but when you put talented people together to create art, but keep them separated the whole time, it just always feels like a chance was missed by not hearing them harmonize.

@@KahlevN I think the biggest reason why harmonization is rare is because they are far apart from each other. Calli may also be in Japan, but there are still restrictions due to the pandemic + it's hard to find a studio accessible to both where they could record the song physically at the same time. This is not taking into account how busy the girls are even outside of streaming.

I think that might be her being overly critical of her ability to sing in other styles? Some of her singing streams, punk or pop songs are noticeably worse than her music. Where as Gura, for instance, seems to be able to do any style. Could be that Gura practices the songs more prior to the stream (some of her unprepared attempts are scuffed). No one can spit bars like Calli though.

@@akamesama I can definitely see what you're talking about. I think it's because of people's love and adoration of Calli that prevent them from overly criticising her singing voice. I don't think it's a matter of skill for her but instead a matter of voice, something that can't be changed. In my opinion, she is not suited for specific styles of singing, but she especially excels in her own field, namely rapping.
