@@Bumiround SPOILER Based on it being 4 episodes, and the rate of progress, I think that we might be getting two episodes with the Kaiju #10 fight, and then two episodes of Kafka being taken into custody and fighting the Head Commander, with his Weapon #2.

didnt start liking this show that much but im getting really excited as the show continues. Even the comedy hits lol i find myself laughing alot throughout the episodes. Saturdays are more enjoyable.

The anime has been awesome so far. While they've cut/changed some scenes (for example Iharu sending up a flare before going back to Reno in the manga and Kafka's interaction with Hoshina at the end of this episode being shorter), they've also added scenes too (Haruichi and Aoi this episode, Iharu introducing himself to Reno, the whole training montage a few episodes back). It keeps the anime feeling fresh even if you've already read the manga. And they're giving justice to Hoshina's character, that's for sure (although I don't know why they gave him fangs). Only the best for the winner of the popularity poll lol

As others have mentioned, there have been a few, small plot changes, but it’s stayed pretty true to the source. The biggest adjustment for me has been the adaptation of the character designs. The show does look a lot better than the promotional images made it seem like it would. The level of detail in the manga is fantastic, so that’s been an adjustment, if an understandable one for ease of animation. They’ve also made a few color changes, probably for color-coding of characters. Would you believe manga Hoshina’s eyes are red?
