@@themelancholyofgay3543To keep things clear, the stadium can be reconfigured and the stands moved for different types of events. In the configuration that it was in for Sui-chan's live, the max capacity was likely around or less than 18k, rather than the full 37k. And they didn't sell some of the seats that had a bad viewing angle of the stage since Sui-chan is being displayed on a large screen rather than, normally for this stadium configuration, a live fleshy performer that can be viewed at all angles.

Does anyone know the stage and model works? It doesn't look like a screen. It looks like a 3D model being projecting into the space of the stage itself? The tech side of it seems interesting
@IronLotus15Ай бұрын
I think irl it was still a 2d screen? Very potentially a Pepper's ghost projection, but that would still be 2d. In the two giant screens in the top left & right and on stream though, they are able to render 3d in the middle of real world footage for more immersion.
@IronLotus15Ай бұрын
For the 3d stuff, as long as the virtual stuff is entirely 'closer' to the camera than anything real, the compositing is made much simpler. You just have to recreate the real stage in a virtual environment, register the virtual camera and real camera's positions so that they agree in some way, layer the virtual video on top of the real video, and mask away part of the virtual video so that the real world shows through. You can make the effect better by also tracking some of the lights that are on the real stage into the virtual environment as well, so the lighting looks more realistic.
@SonicsionАй бұрын
@@IronLotus15 Been trying to figure out how they do it? Either way with my scarce knowledge it seems you really know you're stuff. Thanks for humouring me.
@IronLotus15Ай бұрын
@@Sonicsion Thanks! I honestly only know most of this at a surface level, but I do find it all very cool. I think the first time I saw this effect was during AZKi's solo live or breaking dimensions, and I was really happy to see that. Glad you find it interesting too.
@SonicsionАй бұрын
@IronLotus15 Of course! VFX is such an interesting industry (though I'm not sure if this would be considered VFX?) and seeing the things it can accomplish when applied creatively is incredible. I mean, hell, we got our previously solely 2D Diamond in the rough, well out of that rough at this point performing on stage to a booked out stadium. It's incredible
