The reason why Miko deemed the pigs as Hoshiyomi because when she was checking out what Suisei built, she noticed Suisei trying to bring the pig in at the beginning. Then later on, when Miko was fixing what the creepers exploded - she was bringing the pigs in with the lead saying something along the lines of, "Come here pig, huh...you don't have a name; just like Hoshiyomi with no form. You're the same. You're Hoshiyomi then." and so she brought that joke onto the micomet one block stream. If you're curious: 1:15:50, the minecraft stream before the one block. Miko channel. They were also some more moments before and after that specific instance. At last, we Hoshiyomi finally have a vessel.

Heck, you could even take tidbits of Miko interacting with the pigs in the house for a short clip titled dramatically something like "Miko adopts Hoshiyomi" or whatever fits 😅

LOL! I went back and saw that Mikochi wanted to give the pigs names, she was going back and forth from her house to Suisei's. I don't understand Japanese but judging by her behavior, I think she really wanted to name them Hoshiyomi but just couldn't find a nametag.

I'm probably one of the few that dislikes the whole hoshiyomi=pig thing. There haven't been any issues with not having any forms or mascots before, and there shouldn't be any issues with not having any in the future as well.... There are several fanarts that suggests other forms of hoshiyomis though, like recently a fanmade manga that made hoshiyomi as a star-shaped crystal with musical note symbol on the center. And there are several other fanmade forms as well, like a human with a telescope head, etc.

Me too. Firstly calling people pig is an insult in Asia, Hachama has it because she used to be a tsundere bad mouth character at the beginning. Secondly, We not having forms is because when Suisei wanted to go mainstream,she doesn’t want to have any limits on her fans. Besides she does not seems to like it so I don’t think it’s the same as the last time (when those English speaking fans created mochidoll meme, cuz mochi is cute so she likes it)
