I’m a diehard up church fan but in all honesty this song hits different. 6 months ago my mom of 29 years passed on in to the next life. Heroin OD. I can’t count how many times I’ve got in my truck and ride down a backroad smoking on some dro. Smoking so much that what was reality became nothing more than the wind coming through my windows. But after I’ve smoked and came down every single thing became reality once again. But for about 8 hours I had no worries. No bills no rules to follow. It was just me the gas pedal and a long curvy bumpy unpaved road without a care in the world.

I have been down this bumpy road for many many years. I lost my mom at 10 years old to cancer it killed me it sent me to the mental hospital. I came home I was better and then I was thrown through so much and it killed me more so I went back to another one to help me get better and I did but I still drive down that old.bumpy road and it kills me don't matter if im in my k5 riding high with the best suspension in the world or on 38 inch mudders nothing helped it hurt so badly but I have finally gotten to have some flat spots were I go from depressed to happy.
