I found when it came to the X-08 the problem wasn't the tires. The wheels are actually awesome. The problem is in the crappy controller and ESC/receiver. The RC would never track right no matter what wheels I threw at it. It wasn't long before I decided to replace the ESC/receiver with a Hobbywing ESC, and Dumbo receiver and transmitter. PROBLEM SOLVED. The RC drives straight, has longer range and is more aggressive. I have 2 X-08's and I had to use that remedy on both.

What a session! That Hosim is really dwarfed by the other RCs, but man did it take a beating.. love that spot, too. You guys can kick up a dust storm and looks like someone hooked it up with that dirt jump 👍 Those full sends were in-sane bro!

Yep it really took a beating for two straight days before finally breaking something. For what it is, I'm impressed with it.

Lets see... I like how the servo is mounted. The axels do look super thick. .... Great suspension. Awesome video at red mountain acrobatics. I think the BigRock was having a good time. 👍👍

My son’s X07W is holding up great. Def haven’t beaten on it as hard as you did in this video, but it seems to be a massive improvement over their 1:12 scale model from about 4 years ago. Hes upgraded to some HobbyPark wheels and tires, hopefully we will get out this weekend so he can run it with the new shoes. Sidenote: I gotta say, I’m enjoying your videos, man! Keep up the great work! 🤘🏻🏁

I really appreciate your comment thank you! Hosim does make some very durable cars, I just wish their parts support was a little easier to find, but other than that, they really are good performers overall.

Yeah, it's a pet peeve of mine when companies fudge the size of stuff. It's already tough to tell the size of items online. We don't need all the manufacturers lying about the size. Impressive performance though.

Personally, of the two, I'd go X-07W. It's super durable and you have more potential to customize with your own electronics

I wouldn't give it a thumbs up! Obviously the drive train was toast by the sound of it ...front aluminum undercarriage was flopping around at the end ect.. I understand skate parks are torture but am surprised you gave it a thumbs up! IMO

It was the two day marathon beating I put it through, much of which wasn't filmed that made me give it a thumbs up, also the speed run was done with the power turned down which I didn't realize until afterwards. Basically, it did even better than the video shows. Though, I must admit I should have mentioned those things.
