This hits the MJX sweet spot. 3S is too fast for the 1/16th trucks. I also like the simplified electronics and the velcro battery strap instead of the plastic battery bar. The suspension and drivetrain are the exact same.

Nice vid! I was looking at that one.. I went with the MEW4 1/16 Brushless rc off-road, its the same rc truck, just running on a 45a which can run on 3s lipo. This one you got is a 35a which its only capable of 2s lipo battery. Its great nonetheless. Again great vid! You rock!

For 99 bucks, looks to be a really good value. And you can toss out that 2-1 esc for a hobbywing 1/16 esc, looks like there plenty of room for one.
