@@85dstudios yeah and look at taw valley it’s in the war time black since introduced in 1946 by the southern railway

I don't believe Taw Valley would have carried that livery in modified form - it was under BR they were modified and air smoothing removed. They ought to put her in normal BR colours than these other liveries, the purple was awful! If she had air smoothing it'd be better. All in all though great shots!

I appreciate there’s mixed opinions about the Bulleid’s recent looks, personally I’m a fan of both and they’re both attracting their own audiences and bring in much needed profit for the railway. The livery it’s in now, was an actual livery, therefore not technically inauthentic, but it was for Taw Valley, since it was built in 1946, one year after WW2 finished, and the livery with it. Like you say though, the livery would’ve only been worn by Unrebuilt locomotives as it was British Railways who rebuilt them. Thank you.

@@85dstudios Oh absolutely, These Liveries are what will set The SVR out from the rest of the railways in the UK, thus future proofing it for the future. As much as people like me might like BR Brunswick Green, to get a new generation to Keep these railways running, this is exactly what is needed. Thanks, love the channel!!!

You’ll be fine there, just stick to the hill there. You’ll know what I mean when you get there. About half a mile down Northwood Lane there’ll be a gate on the right, just hop over that and there’s a hill to the left of you. After you hop over the gate, the railway will right in front of you on the wall, walk up to the wall and walk parallel to the railway and you can get onto the hill easy on the slope behind it.
