Hosororo is a very placid and peaceful place. known for its fertile soils, lush vegetation. Many historian think it is the earliest known Amerindian site for the cultivation of cassava dating back 3,850 years. Very Enjoyable video.

Worked there in 1970. Lots of improvement, had one guest house, now three. Collected rain water in tanks then. There were no houses on your way to see the Kissing Rocks. Its like a marrow. It was just a passage way. Enjoy your trip and fesh air.🙂🙂🙂

In 1970 there was only one winding road, from the Airstrip leading to the NW Steamer Stelling arriving every Thursday. HosororoHill had no roads or big houses only one level built with rough wood and coconut branch roof. It now looks like a Village.

This is proof that we need to protect the Northwest and our borders from Venezuela. Many of these regions are sparsely populated, none the less people are living there and they self-identify as Guyanese. We have a duty to protect them and our land. War is upon us, all Guyanese diaspora will return home to defend our land. I’ll die for my country. 🇬🇾

They have empty oil drums on the airstrip. When a local plane is coming in the GDF march there , roll them to the side. Plane lands, passengers disembark, people board, plane take off. GDF rolls the oil drums back in place covering the airstrip.
