Hi Megha. You have done well for the baby. For yourself, keep a steel chiramchee at home coz wen u get back home aftr normal delivery u will need to take sitz bath after every 5 hours or so..check net about sitz bath. Also keep large soft diapers or cotton pads for yourself as the bleeding goes on for a few days n its heavy.

i was watching ur this video of baby bags for hospital nd i remembered my daughter was born in june aur after the c session when the baby was born i started shivering all of sudden nd once i was back to the room doctors had to provide me 2 blackets for the whole day . i was wearing shawl aur mujhe thand lag rahi thi nd my daughter was crying coz usse garmi lag rahi thi coz the ac and fan was off

My baby is 4 month i delivered my baby in dec. I would like to suggest that u should keep a sanitizer with u . Donot touch baby without using it. And donot let anybody to give money to ur baby bcoz money is given as blessing to newborn. And it has a lot of bacteria and viruses on it. And ask everyone to use sanitizer. And happy parenthood. Also i would like to suggest u 2 baby detergents puracy and mamaearth . They are just wonder. The doctor also asked me to put a bowl and spoon of steel. This is because it may happen that ur breastmilk doesnot come early sometimes and its necessary to feed baby within 1 hr. Of delivery. Sometimes baby is not able to latch properly. And one more thing is that please stearlize the bowl and spoon. Take a thick spoon. I first washed them with bar. Then i put water in a vessel and add 1/4 tsp baking soda in it and dip the utensils in it. Let the water boil. Then take them out and wash them with cold water and again put them in boiling water and remove them. Put them on a clean cloth and let them air dry. Donot wipe them. This will ensure they are properly stearlized and bacteria free. I feel very happy 4 u.

Mera 9th month shuru hai. May end or June first week me meri delivery ho jayegi. Main kal hi first cry pe baby essentials dekha rahi thi but mother in law ne kaha hai k baby hone k pehle se kuch leke nahi rakhna hai. Mere mummy ne kuch essential kapde stitch kar k rakhe hai. Hopefully tab tak lockdown khatam ho jayega..

Generally bowl n spoon is not needed. Baby is top fed by hospital nurseries by use of sterilised container and syringe( sans needle)

Put a small glass too n little spoon if u need to give the baby with artificial feed in beginning for 1-2 daz. Initially sometimes baby ll not suck n latch.

Hey Megha get a diaper rash cream, it’s very important weather you use diapers or nappys , babies skin is so sensitive and wiping it again and again cause rashes . Using diapers without diaper rash cream will definitely cause rashes

4oz baby bottles are a must have when in the hospital. Do take them with you. You never know. Also, if possible carry a simple Vaseline tub. Trust me it comes in SO handy with diaper rashes. Every time you change the diaper, apply some vaseline. Keeps the baby's bottom hydrated. It helped me A LOT with my second kid with rashes.
