What would anyone make a rude comment about? The holidays are rough for a lot of people. This Christmas is the first without my dad. But I get a lot of strength from him. God bless you both and Ollie and everyone else who has less than the ideal situation this holiday season.

There's a particular person here who comments now and then and is very, very rude, along with a comment now and then that is more clueless rude - people assuming that they need to tell Mary to eat less dairy, etc.

My Aunt Barbara died two years ago this Christmas after a 49 year battle with CF. I'm wrapping presents for my kids as I watch this. I feel so good watching, because it reminds me that despite her death, she fought so hard. She fought harder than anyone in the world that I know. She taught me so much and inspired such drive in me to be thankful for every breath I have, every chance and opportunity or even difficulty because I can accomplish anything. She loved despite doctor's telling my grandparents she wouldn't. She babysat me and my crazy siblings despite the risks, she worked, advocated, and participated in research studies to give back andnmake it better for generations of kids born after her. I miss her so much, especially around these times of year. I'm so glad you are going home for Christmas and I am so glad that you have potentially found some answers. I find so much strength in watching these everyday. I am so heart broken to this day after losing my aunt. She was surrounded by 19 nieces and nephews, twelve siblings living and two waiting for her arrival home (who also passed from CF in childhood). You give me such hope guys and I cannot thank you enough. Thank you for sharing your journey because I feel like I get to make her memory more real selfishly for myself, but also for the public that has no darn clue. Merry Christmas, and as I sit here wrapping presents, I want you to know you are so loved by people around the world. God Bless!!!!

mary I want to tell you that seeing you cling on to any positives you get really helps me. I'm desperately suicidal at the moment and seeing you with hope helps more than you can know.

Thank you for sharing what chest PT is like for you. I assumed it was hard and a lot of work but I had no idea it would be that intense! Plus all the other things you do daily. You guys with CF are tough cookies!

I think it is great news guys they know exactly what is growing in your lungs. That means appropriate treatment no matter how long it takes. Enjoy being at home for Christmas! !
