Why is he screaming? What is causing his pain? Who is going to get us relief? When will we get some answers? How are we going to treat him? So many questions with very little answers. Raising a blind child is tough, but add in no verbal communication... that is the hardest part yet.

Thank you. It was very very stressful, but I’m also thankful that we weren’t in the hospital for anything more serious. 💕

Oh the poor little guy! I agree that your kid being non-verbal is very difficult when they are sick or in pain. I hope the miralax regiment helps him. Nick has been constipated bad once before and it was just awful. I never hope to experience that again, and I am sure he feels the same.

Jensen being blind is one thing but I completely agree. The non verbal aspect is one of the most challenging parts. We know our kids and what cues mean what but for a friend or family member to try to understand cues is beyond them. I don’t wish it on anyone. Hugs to you and your family.

Poor child is blind! It’s hard for him to see very well. My dad was also blind and so are the puppies. It’s kinda hard for us to see when we were blind sometimes. But I wasn’t blind at all since my eyes are healthy and okay now! I’m well sighted and perfectly well sighted but still deaf!!

I am so glad that he is doing better and that you finally got some answers. I was tearing up watching this as my momma heart aches that you all had to go thru so much to finally figure out what was going on. You guys are doing amazing and keep on advocating as much and as loud as you need to. We are always here to help if needed. Give my little buddy big hugs and kisses from me!!!!

Thank you thank you. It takes a village and I will whole heartedly stand by that and continue to say it. Couldn’t do this without the love and support from family.

So glad he's feeling better. It's so difficult when you don't know what's wrong. I totally identify with the attacking. Jhene' head butts and bites when she's frustrated and mad. I suppose when you're blind it's just a natural thing to lash out physically.

I’m sorry that you experience similar behavior. It’s sad to see your child react that way. Sometimes I just get so sad knowing that my happy boy feels he has to lash out to get his point across. I just have to remind myself that he’s trying to communicate in the only way he knows how. Hugs mama!

I have dysautonomia that affects many autonomic body functions including gastrointestinal motility issues. I do keep track of bathroom habits. If I haven't gone #2 in 36hrs then I drink a cup of tea (cooled off after making it) with whatever tea that I have and use lactulose as the "sweetening" agent and lemon juice (to counter act the overwhelming sweetness of the lactulose) which does help to keep my gastrointestinal system moving appropriately. Might want to consider asking for a script for lactulose to help with keeping #2s more regular...... but to make it more palatable I do recommend using it to sweeten tea with and drink it either hot or cooled off and make sure to add either lemon or lime juice to counteract the sweetness of the lactulose (makes it more palatable to get down......

Just trying to be transparent. It’s hard to listen to your baby cry, especially when in such discomfort. Thanks for supporting us!
