This is a very thorough video. It would take a 4 year course to learn that thing. I like the cabinet lock too, I'm gonna try to copy it.

Haven't seen a video from u for a while, could definitely use some more pointers on how to work the hossfeld bender. Just picked up a #2 hossfeld the other day. It's 40 years old but still works as good as the day it was bought.

Can I use a 18 inch cam dye with a 15 inch radius block??
@robdamico5304 Жыл бұрын
This set-up is designed to pinch just the vertical leg of angle material, so the radius dies are closely matched, however it is common in the student shop for folks to use, for example, the 5-1/2" radius cam die with a 6" radius block if bending 1/2" square or round bar stock. So the difference in radius is made up by the thicker material. Just realize the radius will not be exactly what is printed on the blocks if bending different shape material. There is also a limit to what the machine can bend in terms of forces the machine and the tooling can handle. You will want to do a little trial piece and see what the mismatched tooling gives you.

not sure if your bender is not secure to the base or the base not secure to the floor... but lots of wobble... I would not trust it with much of a cheater bar... been using mine for the better part of 40 years... amazing bender but troublesome at first
