Come Dine With Me takes people who are experts in the art of giving the perfect dinner party and puts their skills to the test. All are great cooks and excellent hosts - but they're all very different. So, if one person's perfect dinner party is another person's evening from hell, how will our hosts cope with a whole week of each other's hospitality?
Each night for a week, one of our hosts will throw a dinner party for the others. They all have their own unique styles of cooking and entertaining, but they're all determined to impress, because at the end of each evening, the guests will give their host a mark out of ten. The host with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000 pounds. Come Dine With Me has expanded to a variety of formats including singles, couples and celebrity specials!

I've been watching Come Dine with Me since I knew of its existence in 2011. This clip had me laughing from the beginning to nearly the end. I can't believe it. Someone please leave me this person Darren's KZbin channel to find him. It just can't be... I mean... the lettuce... the lasagna. I mean, to deep fry anything and choose LASAGNA. Honestly its just like, there's quirky or messy in an endearing way if its earnest and wellintentioned and then there's just chaotic and inept in a way thats not even funny or infuriating but somehow, saddening. This, made me feel really just, its not funny, there's something dark here somehow. IDK. I super don't wanna make personal attacks but I really hope this was more for the show, not how someone actually lives. Having said that, maybe he's one of those hypersensitives? Like, those people who only eat like chips and crisps or something and gag at fruit and veg (there's been shows about it) - it turns out their tongues/brains are wired different and stuff. Maybe he has that? Just a thought. Also, if you watch some Korean cooking (Maangchi!) if you double fry (and properly), you get crispy fried foods that STAY crispy. Whereas if you fry once, the crisp is lost after a while and goes soggy.

I get that deep frying can be traced to the Scots but this is just gross. As a guest I wouldn't eat that, but I don't get why Eastern European ppl are so angry & brash. If he wants to be scrawny & eat unhealthily let him be. However, considering how annoyingly nit-picky he was abt fruits/veggies at other dinners, he should've made more effort to at least serve something edible to the other guests.
