Besides looking at the tag, how do I know which are SHADE, and which can tolerate SUN :-/

The ones that are more yellow in color can tolerate more sun. I had found that the old green variety (Royal standard) can tolerate sun and patriot hosta. But just remember, if they are in the sun, by the end of summer, they will be fried compared to the ones in shade. I hope that helps
