To anyone who is having this problem where elementor has not been installed by default or facing the issue that the whole page is just 1 text editor. Follow this: 1. Restart the process from the point where you installed Starter Templates after deleting current pages and their data. 2. Click the "Get Started" button on starter template plugin from the plugin page. 3. MAKE SURE to select elementor from the top right dropdown. For me it was set to AI Website Builder by default. Rest, the process is same. For those of you facing the problem, elementor didn't get installed because it was not selected in 3rd step (the interface keeps on changing) And now as the website was now not build using elementor when you try to edit this version using elementor you see it as one single text editor Follow above steps and it will be resolved Like this comment to help others as well. How did you get to Elementor to show up in the dropdown menu on the right? I tried many times (recreating a new site from scratch) first installing Elementor plug-in then installing starter plugin and nothing. It still only gives me 3 options on the top right menu: Block Editor, Beaver Builder and Ai Website Builder. Could you help with some hint ?

​@@alijex7305 Because I happened upon Hostinger recently. I learned about the service through a KZbinr. I did some independent research and decided to give the service a try because it was soooo much cheaper than Wix. However, I soon learned that it's not a template program. So the Wordpress I have been running from all these years because it always seems so complex to learn, I was forced to learn in order to take advantage of the service. I am not a fan of webpage design or programming. I struggled through design class in college and now live for a template program.

Hostinger wordpress has changed a lot in last two month. We do not get Elementor plugin in Startup(though they have written it). But we get Spectra as default. Spectra is creating problems. Please make a new video using current changes. One more thing, How can I remove astra theme and reinstall it again as this might be the issue(I am not sure)

I noticed the same thing as someone else - Elementor is not default being installed with the theme and the pages are just one block container of Text Editor. Some of the containers are even different as far as what is within them

I found the solution: Login to your WordPress dashboard: Go to Settings > General Scroll down to the "Starter Templates" section Switch off the "Disable Elementor in Starter Templates" option

Elementor solution: if when choosing a template you don't see any elementor templates option, go back to plugins and manually install elementor plugin. It took me a long time to figure this out, maybe he skipped this step. P.S. Great tutorial, thank you!

So i used the same template that you used . When I try to change things in it, I see that is not made from multiple containers as yours and is just one container with everything put in it, in form of a text/code. And in order to change the background, the images or the text in, I have to do it in the text in content/text editor, and is all there, in 'visual' section. In ''text'' section I have the code. Is this changed since you have done the video? All templates are the same.

I went to the bottom of the page (where you would add another container), clicked on the Starter Templates icon, selected the home page on EARTH again and it created the same page with all the containers separated. Then, I erased the original container on the top.

It's quite confusing at the moment. Selecting Astra activates the Spectra plugin builder. Disabling Spectra, however, disrupts the design, creating a real mess. For using Elementor, which theme would you suggest choosing?
