When Jeannie first announced her divorce, especially being that she loved Freddy with so much unconditional love and devotion, and spent nearly two decades with him-she spoke about her divorce with so much humility, composure, and didn’t speak ill of him. Not even a little bit. She went on national television and displayed a tremendous amount of vulnerability. She didn’t owe us anything regarding her divorce, but she spoke about it anyway. I'm grateful for the explanations. I've been watching the Real via KZbin since I was 18 years old (I'm 21 now) and have always wondered why certain things weren't said. The Real's gotten me through a lot of college and young adult -ish (dealing with past trauma related to eating disorders, depression, and anxiety) so I'm honestly really grateful for it. Their discussions on race, politics, and ethnicity are relatable because I'm a straight up mutt (Native American, Puerto Rican, and European descent) so growing up I never felt like I fit in anywhere. And as a creative person, you feel this pressure to fit in society's "perfect box." It's stupid. Basically, this was a great interview and it's nice to have a show that represents my generation. Hope they have another interview with them where it's more fun.
