Tender Dated:11/03/2021 Proposed construction of extension of existing Platforms 1, 2 & 3, new Island Platform 4&5, FOB, Temporary Goods shed & Goods platform at Hosur Railway Station and Rail Level platform at Maranayakanahalli Railway Station including all Electrical works and other miscellaneous works in Bangalore Division of South Western Railway.

Only PF 1, 2 & 3 will be there. No new platforms for passenger trains. New rail level platforms will be used for Freight trains. Road 5 will be the new track ( alignment as seen at 00:55 in the video ) Pf 3 will be main line for the double line coming from Bengaluru end. Pf 2 will be mainline for double line to Bengaluru side. Pf 1,2 & 3 are extended by 75m ( approx )

Platform should be increased to 6 or 7because Bangalore local trains in future would be parked. Sufficient platforms should be added by SWR region.
