Is the landing harsh at all? Did you get a feeling of free-fall at all? I am okay with heights but not so much the feeling of going down too fast, I really would like to do this, I just want to know what to expect.

Yeah! I’m so excited for you! It depends on what you want included and the company you go with. I would plan on anywhere from $199 to $260

Do you choose how high you want to go?

No, they have an actual pilot and an assistant that flies in the middle with you and several other people. They don't go as high as other hot air balloons in the world because there is a black hawk helicopter training place near the area. So they have a capped airspace they can float in. They go over the Sonoran Desert though, and it is so beautiful and peaceful.
