The history of the Ashanti, primarily associated with the Ashanti Empire in what is now Ghana, is studied in various contexts around the world, particularly in countries with academic programs focusing on African studies, history, or anthropology. In Ghana, where the Ashanti people are a significant ethnic group, their history is a core part of the educational curriculum. In addition to Ghana, countries with interest in African history-such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other nations with diaspora communities from West Africa-might incorporate Ashanti history into their educational materials or cultural studies programs.

Queen mothers and chiefs are highly respected, and must be commended as they desire. The question is that,if unfortunately someone like Akua Pokuaa, uses insults, abusive and unpredictable words against our elderly, what words and language should come from the chiefs and our Queen mothers.? Should they respond with insults, and be at the same level with those we believe have committed a crime..... or they ( chiefs and Queen mothers ) should be teaching the upcoming youth about our good language, culture etc etc
