Looks great! On a low carb diet, looks like the only thing that I would have to adjust would be the corn starch. Wonder if small amounts of Xanthin gum would work. Thanks for the base recipe!

You may just keep the starch. Thank you!

you can write this recipe? It will be easier for me to understand, I live in USA and from Ukreine. I really like this soup, we often go to a restaurant called a buffe, which is MY house ..but I do not know how to cook, it's still hard for me to understand by ear what proldukts come in here .. Please write ..

I bought a wok, is it needed to cook most of the authentic Chinese food?
@ChineseHealthyCook7 жыл бұрын
+Armani Nguon Most of time I don't use wok. Cooking with wok requires high flame (like restaurant) and more oil. Try it. Thank you! -Ling
@Jasongy8277 жыл бұрын
ChineseHealthyCook it doesn’t change flavor, or texture and taste?

Can I come eat at your house? 🙏

Ha, sure, although you can make it yourself. Isn't it simple?
@2Tone-x8h7 жыл бұрын
ChineseHealthyCook I know it's simple and easy but that's not the issue. You were so elegant and refined in your preparations and when you were done I could actually smell the soup and I salivated. I had my wife view the video and she agreed, we're coming to your house. 🤤🤤 I will have to look into Lily Flowers. That's a new ingredient for me. Thanks for responding. You keep cooking and I'll keep watching.

'Dark' vinegar isn't even CLOSE to the traditional taste! 'Chinkiang' vinegar is as ESSENTIAL to this recipe as white pepper is! _You dropped the ball._

Do not use tofu next time , u know when tofu and 酸 come together , it will come to be problem .

No pork and almost no vinegar. Chinese dark vinegar doesn't count. Failure!

Alan Leslie It is good and doesn’t have to have pork, my version :-)

With all due respect, is there another way to show appreciation of flavor other than slurping the soup? I know it is a cultural appreciation of flavor, but the sound is so off putting that I don’t want to watch the videos to the end. By no means am I asking for you to stop your cultural habits, I want to know what *I* can do to show my enjoyment when in the company of those who expect slurping/sucking sounds. Thanks. I know this is awkward.
@ChineseHealthyCook4 жыл бұрын
Did I slurp? I normally don’t while I used to when growing up in China. You don’t have to do so to show appreciation but compliment it 😆
