I saw War in Santa Rosa CA back in the late 80s, one of my all time favorites. Too bad this year's VC Hot August nights event has been ruined by a racist encounter on main Street. Folks ain't gonna like the negative attention.

These classic car shows bring together everyone, no matter what race, color, creed, etc. They are there for the love of cars. There will be plenty of car owners of all races throughout the week. OMG this is where that poor black guy was racially abused. I live in the UK and we even know about it over here. Its a shame that a few shitty people have to ruin it for everyone, also I maybe would have flown over to the USA to attend this cz in the immortal words of Joan Jett 'I love rock 'n' roll' and in fact all things 50's but I'm afraid the racist incident has put me off completely, it doesn't feel safe.
