I'd have a boat full on everyone of these adventures. I live on the coast in Canada and we rarely get anything cool. Washed up. Even all the shells are so cool. Coming from a fishing community myself it's incredible the shear amount of bouys on the shore there.

First that stuff was all junk by now. Second you don't risk your life with second hand/salvaged life equipment. EPIRBs need to be registered. I know (read hope) your joking, but there are people out there who would be 'oh ya, good idea.'

My first year in Utah my arms ached from picking beer cans and busted beer bottles but next hike there were more. I gave up and only keep the good stuff these idiots lose off there side by sides. Today a leatherman multitool and new framing hammer with lovely grip, never had such an expensive hammer. TY I enjoyed this after my long hike. I'm 68 and just can't manage more than a small trash bag per hike.
