Sir, as you said that a black body will emitt all the lights that it has absorbed if heat is provided. So if we burn a black body for example a black shirt,would it emitt differemt colours??

A black body absorbs all the EM radiation and after a while due to temperature difference,it emits radiations in form of thermal energy. So ,we wear black clothes during winter, as it absorbs all the EM radiation and then release it as thermal energy.

No as there is a difference between heating and burning. If you will heat, then definitely it will emit all the wavelenghts.

Burning and heating has different outcomes,if you heat a black body,as your example a black t-shirt, it'll definitely emit EMR but not so powerful for us to feel it or visible one. But if it's about a metal or any object that is metalic or is equivalent to electrical circuit or heat,we can observe the outcome of EMR. Also I guess the frequency of the EMR is not strong enough for a black t-shirt that the radiation for different colours can be observed..... Still a student,just letting you know my perspective,let me know if I'm wrong 😊

​At low temperature, the peak of yhe graph is in infrared region. The shirt will emit infrared rays when you are heating to burn it. That will not be visible to the eyes. Now if you ask how can burning temoerature be low temperature then the answer is the temperature is very very low rekative to temoerature of body emitting colour in the visible region Hope this clears​@sanjaymanas

Sir I have a question, you said when we heat an object it radiate all the colours of wavelength and we see that colour which have high intensity ,so it means it neither absorb any colour but reflects all how

I think the object which is being heated is a black body which first absorbs all the 7 colours from the white light that falls on it and then ,when the body is heated, it emits those colours. I might be wrong though😂😂
