I feel like there are a lot of comments bashing the narrator, so let's put this in perspective. The song (and the accompanying video) is likely a representation of someone leaving a suffocating relationship from someone with an obsessive and manipulative personality. I could go through every instance in the video that they hint at it, but I think the most obvious is that she throws his clothes out, and more than likely throws him out for hanging out with his friends and playing video games, and then gets upset and has a potential date on hand to try to make him jealous. Simply put, she's the one who forces him to leave, and she already has preparations to try to upset him when he's trying to socialize at what is likely the narrator's job (considering they're shown to be part of a band on stage), you have bigger problems, like the fact that you're obsessive and controlling.
