I think I like the live version more, it hits differently.

Better than the original. This is a musical tour de force. I love you guys for creating something this magnificent.

They are all operating under one consciousness. When band members are so in sync with each other, they can improvise on songs all tour and knock it out of the park. The hardest thing for me was always wearing headphones as a drummer, especially since half the time I'd have my eyes closed and head shaking to the beat. I'd have to play just hearing what was in front of me if my headphones fell off. Nothing to this scale of course, but I always find myself listening to groups that seem to actually enjoy each other and the journey they're on.

I have more than 10 years of vocal training, and while their voices are not "classically" trained, they expertly use what they have. They made a conscious choice not to ruin their voices in reverb and other cheap effects often used in live performance. Their raw voices are chilling, and melancholic. It's purely subjective when you call them "bad". These guys are artists, and great musicians to boot.

The vocals have been processed. I assume it’s purely subjective when you call them “good”. Ten years of vocal training… incredible.

Hot Chip can sing pretty good and I like the others guy low voice brings in another layer, I like the harmony. 👍

One of the most understated groups out there..they are what other bands would like to be when they grow up... they are a culmination of all around talented musicians who can play multiple instruments and any genre of music they feel like and make it appealing to the listeners....they are an eclectic group which makes them fascinating to watch and listen too perform... a variety of artists of different musical and age backgrounds all coming together to produce if not perfection then exceptional music.... PS.. slight crush on that drummer Sarah such great spirit... great to see a girl in that position which is not often. Cheers!! keep on pushing the musical envelope guys!!

I love Sarah's playing on the off-beat :D 1 (AND) 2 (AND) with the emphasis on AND. She's a true percussionist.

If you truly think that, you should go look into some bands/orchestras/groups that use actual musicianship instead of one-finger synth. You will be blown away, I promise. There's a wealth of it out there, but try to stay before the year 2000. That's when it turned to shit mostly...shit like this "video" above. These guys are literally faking it, which is fine if you like fake generic dance crap, but if you watched a REAL musician live, you'd get a REAL experience.
@Whispie10 жыл бұрын
Dillard McPenishold I wouldn't say this is the best live performance ever. I will say that they performed the song expertly. I will also say that you definitely don't know how electronic music works. They aren't faking anything. To say they aren't musicians is to spit in the face of art. It is to put music in a cage where it can't change. You would halt the evolution of music because you don't like what you don't understand. Your perspective of music is selfish.
