Nice to hear you like it! I was born in '65, 58yo now. If we had a cool school bus driver they would let us listen to the radio. Sometimes they would even tune it to the station we wanted to listen to. If we got too loud and boisterous they usually turned it off because it distracted them while they drove. Back then am radio stations were extremely popular, now you hardly know they still broadcast. There was so much good music coming out back then; I mean the various genres- disco, rock, folk pop rock, country rock, early heavy metal....it's hard to describe because styles over lapped quite a bit. I feel very fortunate growing up when I did with the music we had. Society was different in some ways of course. But, the more things change the more they stay the same. That's from a song called "circumstances" by the band Rush, 1978. Have a good time listening to music you love and try to share it with friends when you get together. Create memories while you can, time goes by so fast, so fast. G.W.

Omg I remember this song released in '78 I was 15, just started high school, that September. This song was playing in the background on our little radio.. out by the pool, late July, and my sister was dancing to it, as I was dancing in the shallow end mimicking my sister's dance moves... Just heard a couple of bars of this song in background of a commercial tonight. I wasn't sure if it was Hot Chocolate (such a distinctive voice) and there they were. If this is a 'new' tune or you're not familiar with it you probably weren't born yet - there are some great classics come out of this era & you'll hear them everywhere. I've walked into stores now & got no idea what shite they are playing in the background, sure isn't anything I'm familiar with. "It's got a great beat & I can dance to it...." You'll only get that joke if you grew up with the classic rock songs that laid the groundwork for the entire music genre you're listening to now.
