Tan is a year older than Eunwoo. He's a '96 liner and trained to be an idol for 11 years. He was a contestant on No Mercy, the show that formed Monsta X using his birth name Choi Seokwon. After the show, he went to the military for 2 years and after serving, he continued to train to be an idol. So if you know Tan, it's quite unbelievable and at the same time heart-breaking when he said he can't do it anymore because irl he's been enduring and practicing all these years to make a debut. So happy that he finally got to debut in Ciipher with his 6 precious brothers Hyunbin, Hwi, Keita, Tag, Dohwan and Won. I hope he gets an acting role in the future too. Eunwoo knows what it feels like to be nervous, making mistakes and getting scolded thus he made efforts to comfort the other member of ciipher. Seunggi’s professionalism shows why he is a top star. Tan was an extremely good actor. He portrayed understandable emotions of trying, failing, and eventually giving up because he continues to disappoint the one person he is trying to impress. Rain was exceptional as well playing his role as a disappointed mentor whose emotions are beginning to spiral out of control. Sang Min and his commentaries may have seemed small but they helped deliver the situation even more. He planted seeds of doubt into everyone’s mind by casually thinking out loud the worst case scenarios everyone dares not to express. I was really impressed. I can’t imagine how to other members felt. They must have felt their entire dream is coming to a halt as they’re met by “failure” again and again. This was one of the most successful hidden cam pranks I’ve ever seen

Some people didn't like this episode, but I LOVED it. Not only did we see Rain back at it again with his stellar acting 😆 But also we saw the genuine, good hearts of all of the hosts. They're all different but all gems in their own way. Seungi was so positive and uplifting till the very end. Eunwoo had a hard time with it, but he was still helpful and gave the guys advice and encouragement. Se hyeong was concerned but used his humor to try to incorporate some comedic relief and lighten the mood. Sung Rok with the chicken, just trying to be natural 😆 And Dong Hyun showing actual tears of empathy! These are wonderful human beings and I loved seeing their genuine reactions.

Seunggi you never fail to amaze me. Such a great leader. I can totally see how professional he is. And having Sehyung as someone who Seunggi relies so much to lighten the mood is very endearing. If you watch MITH, you can sometimes see Seunggi always reminding everyone to be more entertaining, to have a good reaction and to be more energetic and to participate more. That is why he is more closer with Sehyung cause they have been in this industry especially in doing variety shows for too long now. He encouraged Ciipher and also told them to understand Rain as well. And though he is much younger than other members, he was the one who reminded them that they should keep going and that moping around won’t change a thing. He is close with Rain and that puzzled him a lot also yet he also empathized the members cause he is also a singer. Being in the industry for 18 yrs. and doing everything from singing, acting and entertaining is not easy and how much more if you’re considered as a leader. I really love and respect this man. And I adore all Jipsabu members..

Awwww Eun Woo is such a sweetheart and comforting the boys the best he could...and watching their performance sincerely so that they get used to performing in front of a crowd, this is what makes him stand out. He's s very compassionate, hardworking and sincere human being. And the rest of the members were really sweet too, each trying to help out in their own way. Dong Hyun, the big scary UFC champion was about to burst into tears because of this says how soft hearted he is. And also I think though this is a prank and a bit harsher than reality, idols do go through hell during their trainee days and it's probably their toughest period. They get criticised, humiliated, put down thousands of times to survive in this cut-throat industry and to get where they are today. So I hope no one ever criticizes or ridicules an idol for no fault of theirs. Because it took a lot for them to come here and they don't deserve to suffer just because some random person was having a bad day and is looking at these idols to vent out their frustration.

Even though the scolding was not to an extreme degree (I’m sure many idols go through the same thing as trainees maybe even worse unfortunately). I think what shocked the cast so much with this prank was that rain was willing to scold to that degree in front of them and a whole production crew. So they probably thought to themselves “if he is scolding tan in front of so many people what would happen behind closed doors in a private setting?”
