What janghoon say is true. If you're going to your parents house, no matter how rich or broke both of you and your parents, buy em something. Even if foods. My parents is rich AF and Im broke Af, but I always brought 1-2 whole chicken for them whenever I visit them. It's not about the price or products. Everyone will feel loved by their love one if they bring something for them. Well said janghoon. I find that childrens nowadays especially below 50 years old having hard time doing this.

My family also awkward about skinship. I don't kiss my parents and do much skinship with them especially my dad. My relationship with my parents is quite distant as I also rarely come home. Then one day I thinking my parents are getting older. I don't want the first and last kiss I give to them is on their deathbed. So from that day I try to initiate skinship and kiss them at least when I say goodbye to them. After sometime it doesn't feel awkward anymore and our relationship is getting better.
