11 years had passed but Song Ji Hyo's luck still hasn't run out. She may not be that active anymore but in times like intuition and luck are needed to win a game, she is their go-to-member. She never disappoint. She knows that every member needs to step up after Kwang Soo's departure so she is bringing her A-game back. She is still our ACE after all!

It's not that SJH isn't active, she's just not often given a chance to be active anymore. Her strengths are her luck, intuition, courage and unexpected physical abilities (or expected inabilities). Not to mention the occasional mong moments. She really shines when she's given the opportunity to actually physically do something. Since she's not the type to incessantly babble about nothing or interrupt people, she doesn't get much screen time when episodes focus on just talking. It's the games that have changed, not SJH.

@@rampage31gaming39 I have. That's my whole point. Consider the types of games and challenges that were in the early years of RM compared to the last 4 years. I know they've toned down the games because of injuries and the members being older, but that also meant they focused on more situations where they just stood around and babbled at each other, which is not SJH's strong point and never has been, even in the early years of RM and I'm not counting the Monday Couple banter between her and Gary. The bridge was practically a throwback to early days of RM and SJH once more was able to show the luck, courage and intuition long-time fans of RM always knew she had.

The other commenter is right. Jihyo's general attitude did not change, what changed were the dynamics of the members and conceptualization of the show. RM was initially a variety/sport oriented show, they focused much more seriously on games before and she excelled. The jokes about her monday line with Gary gets her much airtime as well. When Gary left, when members focused more on being funny and engaging with funnier members at the threat of getting fired (because of kjk/jh fiasco in 2016), arrival of new members, games getting less extreme for the ageing members and the show's concept gearing more on comedy variety, from all of those changes jihyo's passive nature became more apparent. After their 2019 concert episode I think they noticed the huge support of fans for jihyo so members started actively engaging with her again (aside from lks many fans credited sukjin as the member who often make an effort for jihyo to secure airtime). Jihyo is not the talkative type, she rarely initiate a conversation but she always try her best be it in games or to be entertaining if given opportunities.

@@rampage31gaming39 he not wrong tho, what make Jihyo shine the most were all the physical games she played. Not a long and boring talk show like RM nowadays, it just not suited her anymore. If you really watched RM from the start, we all know that Jihyo been known as an ACE for how well and lucky she play, not about how she talk. Monday couple was a huge thing back then also.

Jihyo went so crazy on this haha then bibi just straight sending it after lolol wish all the girls could’ve gotten a bit more screen time, even during their intros it moved really fast. Probably would’ve been a roast fest had they brought up Yeji having kwang soo as her comedy role model 😂 It’s a variety show though so they have to pick what’s gonna be good on screen and they probably just got overpowered by the cast. Hopefully they all get another chance and the episodes setup can help them out a bit
