WOW, Nery gets better and better. Guys, this is how to dance with a gal 3+ levels below you. Playfulness, a lot of stop action , simple turns, a lot of eye contact. The better girls like it too, mixed with the more subtle and technical things they're capable of.

I don't really agree with you here - when he stops, and looks away, then does something fast and fancy with his feet, he's losing her and signalling that he is so much better than her. As a follower, this sort of thing makes me feel nervous and sad. It undermines my (plentiful!!!) ability to be playful, creative, funny, musical and warmly responsive. Pretty soon I cannot even keep time because at heart I don't want to be in this dance. It cannot be over stated, that the connection between the dancers is where the happiness is to be found. At festivals, I've noticed that the very best dancers, international couples who seem contented with each other, dance together in quite a simple way.

the more u learn that this dance isnt for ur self, and it is all about the other u dance with, the better ur dances will get. people need to get this idea, when u dance in social dance like this one, you can achive the most by learnning how to use what the other has to offer, nothing less nothing more, listen to ur partner, sometimes you get to dance with high lvl dancers and sometimes not, but there is no use if the chimestry between you and her is'nt there... gl :D
