Without a doubt, one of the best family dramas of all times. I usually overuse the forward button when watching dramas with more than 30 episodes because some characters are boring but I have watched the entire 52 eps without moving. Kudos to the writers and to all the actors who magnificently gave life to the characters. Special shout out to Lee Joon, haven't watched him before but when I learned he was a former idol, I was surprised that he acts so well... even better than some seasoned actors. Sad that he will be in hiatus for 2 years :( Would have been nice to watch a second season of Father is Strange where he and Somin are already married or perhaps another drama with the two of them as lead. Congratulations KBS!

It may be three years old,but without a doubt, this is a drama worth watching. You can't help but get very attached to the characters. The strength of a family's love is portrayed so brilliantly in this drama,I can so relate to the the women being the strong minded,sometimes brutally honest members in the family. The men are by no means the weaker of the two sexes, they just know when to step back for "inner peace".. I laughed and cried often and never got bored.. Amazing actors,each bringing their best to the story all the way through..

I am so thankful to all who created this great family drama. I loved it so much I finished all 52 episodes on VIKI or KZbin in about a month! The series touched on so many topics regarding families and other real life experiences. All the acting and character development was wonderful. I was particularly impressed with Lee Joon's acting. I empathized and fell in love with the character, Anh Junghui. When Junghui was in psychological tumult, he portrayed his tortured soul so well it just tore my heart out! I pray for Lee Joon's safety and well-being as he enters his military service. Recently I read an article that Lee Joon has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, so I also hope he is continuing to receive care for this; that's because I wish him a long, happy, and successful life and career. I hope to see him acting for many years to come.

I 'm into this kdrama these days. I'm so in love with JUNGHUI AND MIYEONG couple. And I just knew that they dated in real life, so sad that I knew it when they're no longer in a relationship huhu. But still, I will support the actors, but I'm really sad huhu. I will just watched some sweet videos of them while shooting. Also, I LOVE THIS PROJECT, I love the story, how it portrays a family.
