For anyone thinking Hobi didn't teach these talented boys, he did. He perfected moves, showed them corrections, nuances, gave them.encourgement and advice on how to dance and perform the song - the very definition of teaching. Was he the only one to teach them? Obviously no. Did he teach them the choreo? No. But no one is claiming either of those things by simply stating the true fact that Hobi taught them and he did it very well. This is evidenced not only from their performance (which is also down to their hard work and the other instructors hard work), but also the video where you see how he taught them with humbleness, friendliness, kindness, encouragement and with his clear unequalled knowledge of the dance. Well done to these boys and well done to Hobi for being such an wonderful mentor.

I'm seeing a lot of comments about how their rapping and singing aren't very good. What you all have to understand is that, first of all, this song is very hard to both sing and dance. They are still learning to do the best they can with their different vocal ranges, and honestly, I am very proud of what they accomplished in what was a short amount of time.

Ali Gamez Agree!! Hobi himself said that to do it in live performance is quite hard. Even bts had to practice lots of times to master it, which i believe is more than just 2 days. People said the team was too focused on the choreo, simply because the choreo itself is already hard, which means less time to ‘sharpen’ their vocal. Even so, hobi praised them saying the team did well and their energy is good. Not saying this because i’m biased, the other group did amazing as well. But again, just like what you and i said, it’s about the time and the level of difficulty.

Sangmin did justice to our Hobi's parts. The training is really worth it. I'm so proud as an army seeing trainees cover the song, but there is something missing on the vocals. They should do open throat more. It's hard to listen when the sound closes, cuz their resonance aren't vibrating well. I hope they'll get better vocally.

These guys did very well, it's one of the best covers of Fake Love I've seen and it's clear that they applied Hobi's advice. Keep in mind that the presentation itself is complicated by the combination of choreography and complex vowels. It is not easy to have a balance between the two but even so they achieved it. So for me, this team won, if they want to be idols it's not just singing and having good voices, but also adapting to complicated choreographies and having a great presence on stage.

Honestly speaking, performing FAKE LOVE IS NOT A JOKE. We all know that it has a very hard and powerful choreo and the vocals. They did great! from OUTFITS, CHOREO, VOCALS etc. All though the vocals are not that great but its still good (yeah i mean fake love vocals are very hard) and i was just looking for that intense emotions, no offense they're expressions/emotions are good but you know they need to improve it more. Cause we all know that fake love has to be so emotional. But i do understand that. ANYWAY THEY DID GREAT! 👏👏 HOBI IS SURELY PROUD OF YOU GUYS

Okay, I’m with this team. Although I agree that the other team has stronger vocals, if you CONSIDER everything, this team has it. And you could tell this solely by how they delivered the performance. The other team is lacking EMOTIONS and stage presence. I know that they’ve worked really hard, and I had a higher expectations, especially after seeing their practices. During the actual performance, however, I feel like they were holding back. I believe they didn’t really reach their full potential. This team, on the other hand, performed like it’s their last. And they really IMPROVED their singing. If you saw their practice, most of them were off, and there were a lot of voice cracking because FL has high pitch in general. This was, in fact, confirmed by BTS themselves. Overall, I love how they incorporated Hoseok’s advice in this performance. Their sincerity showed through their emotions, and imo, this is how you get the audience.

I mean isn't that the definition of bts. They didn't start with very strong vocals at all. Most of the singers had never really sang before. Their passion is what helped them persevere. They still don't have the best vocals in the industry but they have improved substantially and rose to the top with that passion.

even thought they had different strengths as you say; a stage need to be complete on both vocal and singing skills. Mirotic had the two because thaye didn't made any mistake in the choreo and stille manage to be as sexy as they could possibly be. fake love on the contrary gave an amazing stage presence and their dance was on top but the vocal part was so missing that everybody could noticed it, it is sad but the stage wasn't fulfilled and in that case mirotic team should have won.

@@smilelive7505 in my honest opinion (no bias) is that the fake love boys have okay vocals but people were used to listening the original songs which influences a lot the judgment of the listeners. Specially that the song was sang by 7 different vocals. Also, mirotic is nice but the stage presence of the fake love group was strong... it kinda recuperated whatever people think that they're lacking.. however, both group really did well and you can see the effort and desire to sucessfully perform it on both sides.

@@ronazan87 I agree with the fact that both team really gave their best in their performance, but personnally I don't find that fake had an amazing stage presence (but mirotic has because of wumuti mostly XD) and beside, a good representation no matters it is popular or it is a cover or whatever if you can't own the song, make it yours so you can sing it without it being weird and without even letting people noticing that this is not your song, this is the talent of an artist and they didn't have that for me. Their vocal were great in the sens that nobody had a false note or his voice cracking, but when your dream is to be a performers you have to learn how to sing powerfully so people will notice you; you have to harmonize and adjust to the other members so your singing doesn't seem too different, almost not the same performance with not the same vibe you know. They are in the show to learn these things wether they debut or not. In my eyes making that team win and not the other is not good for the trainee personal training.

Their choreo is on point. Some of the singing is a bit off, but considering this song is VERY DIFFICULT to sing I can understand. The one who had Namjoon’s part needed to go a little bit more harder. Namjoon is all about showing deep power rapping (at least in parts of this song). But they did wonderful still. BTS themselves have said this is an extremely difficult song

Yes, Hobi and Lil meow meow's part is on point cause Sangmin (belongs to rap group) did it. I understand why it doesn't feel like it's powerful on Namjoonie's part cause it was performed by a trainee that belongs to the vocal group. It is also new on our ears😂 especially us who streamed fake love every day, but all in all, they really did slay the performance! I'm so proud of them 💜

They say, Mirotic team is the best than this performance because of their stable vocals. Yes its true, i did watch the mirotic and i was impressed how they perfectly perform it. But the fact that this team perform one of bangtan's hardest choreography is a big deal to me. Fake love is not easy to perform live. Even hobi said that to them. But they manage to slay it eventhough their vocal is not stable. I just hope under nineteen give both teams the same song so that we can see if who will be slaying the performance. Over all, i did enjoy watching this performance but i'll go for mirotic team.

I really believe that mirotic indeed got good vocals and dancing throughout the performance but you can't deny the fact that fake love has the strong performance and like jhope said "it's a difficult song to perform" the choreo is insane and the vocals in the song is also insane so I give props to them for performing it that well despite the time given is too short and even jhope said "we practiced a lot for this song" so it means they really need to consume more time to practice and wait for so long to perfect it so yeah and I get the point mirotic is also a good song I've listened to this song before cause I'm an old kpop fan and indeed no doubt an amazing song but let's admit the choreo is manageable. I stan this group cause I see so much potential if they work so hard to get it 💓 fighting!
