Hey Bunny, I just bought a mini pie maker. It is an electric pie maker that you can make sweet or savory small individual pies. I thought of you when I bought it! You could use this in your van and it only takes about15 minutes or so to bake! I will let you know how it works out when it arrives ! Happy cooking to you!

I am so excited to have the ability to do cookies in different ways. I don’t eat a lot of sweets. You wouldn’t know it by watching this video and how excited I get about the cookies but every so often you just want that warm cookie to make the day better lol

I would use parchment paper instead of wax paper. Easier to clean. Won’t leave residue like wax paper.

I definitely will be trying that also because both were suggested to me I wanted to see which one might work best in this particular device so my next check will be with the parchment, which is what I normally use whenever I’m baking

Great new cooking option! Years ago I got a 12v HotLogic Mini instead of a RoadPro because I thought it would better meet my needs of slow cooking while doing road-trips. I especially like to have a hot lunch in Rest Areas midday in autumn, winter & spring as a luxury & to keep me out of restaurants. I worried about a RoadPro tipping over or possibly burning food. While I have no fear of burning food in a HLM, I doubt it would cook cookies very well (but you have inspired me to reheat cookies or a bear claw from a bakery on my next trip) in the HLM compared to the RoadPro.

I actually am going to be doing some things with a hot logic as well. I had several people asking if I would do a comparison of the two so that they could see which one would work better for their particular wants and needs. And so on this upcoming trip, I will be highlighting my thoughts on how it works, and then also some of the values that it brings but then at some point after the first of the year I’m going to do a side-by-side comparison and see the real hard on which one can do things better.

@ I’m on a low carb medically supervised diet, which means really limiting highly processed grains like flour so I’m not making bread or pies, etc. however, upon occasion a nice warm cookie for desert is ok, which is why I’m excited that you reminded me about warming one in the HLM. But I have friends who are over the moon for fresh cornbread & I think they would like some with chili at the end of the road on a cold day. They are amazed that there are alternatives to slaving over a hot stove when you get to camp. So I’ll keep sharing you cargo minivan cooking videos!

You could fill the whole bottom of the Road Pro with cookies so they melt together and then you could cut them in squares. When you’re traveling with Riley and others that would be helpful. I like chewy chocolate chip cookies. I would experiment with different methods of lifting the cookies above the heated surface like the Omnia does.

I thought of you yesterday, Dollar General has on sale a small donut maker, cake pops, and waffle sticks, for $5 each. They are originally $13 each and sale is over tomorrow. I bought all three for me.

I’m always looking forward to options that will work for me on the road. I know that I can make them in the air fryer and now I know I can make them in the roadpro!!! This is a great way for me to have them while driving down the road without having to stop and wait and cook and then get back on the road

I've had good results with making cookies in my Dash Mini Griddle. It takes about 5 minutes to bake a cookie in it.

Does the road pro heat from the top down as well? I have a different kind that just heats from the bottom but as a plastic lid goes over it that is vented? Those cookies sure looked good.

the top is more of a heat reflector ... it builds at the bottom and then holds and reflects back the heat from the top surface....

I actually am going to do a comparison of the two I have already filmed a few things that will be coming out after this series to kind of allow people to see the differences and how I think each one could be used best, but I am also going to do a dedicated side-by-side video at some point probably after the first of the year there is definitely a huge difference between the two

The cookies look delicious! Too long of a wait for them. If you're worried about them burning on the bottom, why not try flipping them over halfway through baking, like hamburgers?

Not really that long to wait though because most of the time whenever I use the road pro I use it while I’m driving so it just makes the time pass even faster whenever you’re cooking food

Seriously you have a very pretty face I think you should be in to modelling or at least commercials you need an agent you need an agent you need to get signed up because you have a look that no one else has you have such a pretty smile that just jumps through the TV that you can not only sell anything but everything you endorse has that brightness to it yes girl I'm serious or if there is an agent out there or will you be careful but you need to get do the screen tests and be done get it done and submit this video to an excerpt of where you of the cookies especially where the bottom is bernd a little bit but then you mentioned to it and you're like yum yum I'm serious you sold a burned cookie that's how good you are and it wasn't really bernd it was just a little dark in but the thing is it's that's it's just like I want to go right now and go buy some pillsbury cookies right now
