I Love Virgin Island Water!! When you think of coconut, what comes to mind is always those cheap milky Sun tan lotion fragrances, but VIW is SO fresh and tropical it really smells like a cocktail by the sea!

I have 7 of the fragrances mentioned here so I must be doing something right. I really like her selections here because she didn't rehash the same old designer choices. If it wasn't for Demi I would not have discovered Torino21. Also Demi is right on the money that there are not a lot of good coconut scented fragrances for men. Nishane's Fan Your Flames is another good coconut scented fragrance. Aaron Terence Hughes has a new one with Ozone also.

She definitely talks about those specific fragrance houses a little more than most but at the same time for me personally, PDM is my favorite house followed by Initio, Nishane, Roja & Xerjoff so it's hard to say if that's truly the reason cuz you have to admit all those niche houses put out some of the best frags on the planet so it is what it is?!? 🤷‍♂️

I only have Mefisto and Gentle fluidity out of the list. Although I like Mefisto, I absolutely adore Gentle fluidity. The quality of it it's just incredible. It says expensive and luxurious in a discreet and classy way.

Demi, that was a great list of frags for the summer for sure! I know how much you love Gris Charnel from BDK but you need to do a review on the new Extrait that was just released! I'm a sucker for Fig frags and the OG GC is my favorite one but the new Extrait is phenomenal just like the OG IMHO! I think this one is going to appeal to a wider range of people specifically the men cuz it's much more smokier, spicier and definitely woodier with that beautiful Cedar note. That Fig still shines just enough with this one but I might just like it just a little more than the OG believe it or not, can't believe Im saying that cuz the OG to me is a masterpiece from the brand and in time I think this one will be as well. Great for Spring & Summer especially at night. The Extrait is an absolute home run from the brand and the fact that it's 30% more concentrated doesn't hurt either. Would love to hear your thoughts on this one since like I said before I know you love the OG. Thanks as always Demi, excellent list and reviews on all those frags you mentioned!! 💯🔥♨️🔥

I know I'm a day late and a dollar short with this but better late than never. First off, thank you so much for not saying Creed Aventus. Nothing against that particular fragrance, but that's not the only fragrance Creed has that in my opinion smells just as good. On that same note, I actually have a brand new sample of Creed Virgin Island Water that I just love. Xerjoff Torino is for sure on my summer purchase list. I'm hearing a lot of chatter about this frag and it has all been good. Can't wait to see what else you have to say about other frags.

Oh, it'll be a hot summer with some of these picks, as I will be moving to Europe soon; to the homeland from the US. I'm excited. Maybe I will bump into you guys, haha. Unlikely though, because it will be Germany. I need to get a bit further into niche, or at least some more into private designer lines you mention, just to see what they're all about, because I currently don't have any on this list. For now, this summer I will mainly stick with Allure Homme Sport Extreme, ADG Profumo, Versace Pour Homme, Dior Homme 2020 (which I really enjoy) and The One EDP, for example. The One is such a staple for a summer night (or year round) and still one the most beautiful blends of ambroxan, I'd say. Cheers, Demi -- to your class.

Smelled Mefisto, was amazing, then sprayed it on my skin, felt also amazing but only few hours later, it was gone 😮 quite pity, would have bought a full bottle if it didn't disappear so fast. On the contrary, gentle fluidity performs very well on my skin and get like 7 hours of projection..
