I hate that people are saying she can't sing but she Really can, go look at other live performances where she isn't lipsyncing like her song with sunny and yuri or when snsd was on sketchbook in 2014. Just compare yesterday's and today's performance: It is obvious that she lipsynced today -- but her live yesterday was actually alright. She's just not comfortable singing live. Hyoyeon's more of a dancer, we all know that. I'm not saying she's bad at singing because her good live yesterday showed that she is capable. But obviously her face scrunches up whenever notes get difficult, and if she wants to be an all-round performer, I hope she grows to overcome that and be more comfortable singing live. A bit disappointing because she is a top girl group member after all, so I hoped to see more determination.

Actually, if you watch yesterday's performance (which was clearly live), she only lip syncs the last word in that part so she can take a quick breath before the next line. But today she basically smiled through the whole previous sentence, so it's easy to see this wasn't a live performance. I'm not saying Hyo is worse or anything, it just wasn't live like most of the previous MYSTERY stages weren't either, just like Tiffany lip synced I Just Wanna Dance for almost 2 weeks as well. I guess they want to focus on dancing.
