great as always ... I have a couple of questions Why do you insist in using only black electrical tape ? The shortest rod you have is 7ft .. why don't you use 6.5 or 6 ft rods ? is it because of the way you fish or the size of the fish you want to catch ??! Best of luck Capt Mike and Capt Carlos

Abdullah saif electrical tape has the least amount of adhesive compound compared to the other types of tape. The strong adhesive compound mixed with the heat of the sun will soften the balloon material cause in it to pop. As for the rods I'm assuming if the fish swims under the boat when it's hooked less of a chance with an 8ft for the line to rub on the bottom of the boat and breaking the line as loosing the fish than a 6ft. Hope that helps.
