It sucks bc when I was 16, it was all either Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens or some other band in the metalcore genre, which is fine. But I'm experiencing this in my 25+ and it hits harder than Ike Turner

Don’t worry, you’ll find more music. Going on 20 years ago, I was blasting From First to Last, Chiodos, Escape the Fate, and more (lots more). Then came along people like Lil Peep, Mom Jeans, Hot Mulligan. Lots more in between there as well. Emo music to me is anything you listen to when you’re sad and the artist is expressing similar emotions. Blink-182 has emo songs, to me. KennyHoopla. Nothing, nowhere. I hear your point tho, hearing music for the first time Is special. I just think… emo is still alive and well, is all. I just discovered these guys like 6 months ago.
