During the chorus parts, there is always a vocalist whose voice stands out the most as if that was their own singing line and then the other members will try to blend their voices along with that, which is absolutely amazing to make the song even more satisfying to listen. I’m not surprised at the way they choose to sing together in Promise You because NCT already did the exact same thing in their previous songs, including From Home - a genuine ballad, but it still gets me impressed every time they perform and show the ability of their vocals.
