@audreymuzingo9334 жыл бұрын
In the first Gaffigan special I ever saw, he kinda overdid the audience voice thing, which made me have a funny 'meta' audience voice, like, "Is this guy going to keep saying 'Is this guy...' ???". Also that special was almost entirely about food, so I didn't seek him out for years, thinking he was a pretty 1-dimensional comic. But lately I'm experiencing a Gaffigan Revival, as he has obviously branched out his material and employs a wise 'less is more' approach with "Is this guy...?", ha.

Jim and Jeannie: Shout out from Milwaukee, home of the recent "ridiculous" Covid-19 election. (And, of course, hometown of Jeannie (Noth) Gaffigan.) You guys killed it at the Marquette graduation in 2018. I was one of the law school grads in attendance, although the dental school grads had WAY more fun. (Maybe because they knew they had much better career prospects?) Anyway, my wife and I used to go to your Milwaukee New Year's Eve shows, before we got too busy raising our kids and what-not, so it was nice for us to get to see you live again. Hope you and your family stay healthy and don't drive each other too nuts. Here's hoping there's a vaccine by New Year's 2021 (or, you know, March, April, or May).
