In this video I had shared very quick and simple prasadam recipe that everyone can make at their homes. This pongal recipe is one of the famous recipe in South Indian cuisine. This can be served as breakfast also. Mainly this pongal served as prasadam in temples.This pongal is known as hot pongal, katte pongal, ven pongal, pesarapappu pongal.
Ingredients:
rice 1 cup
yellow moong dal1/4cup
water ratio1cup rice :1 1/2 cup water if you want it smooth texture you can add another half cup of water
turmeric
jeera
cashews
chillies
pepper
ghee
curry leaves
pongal|katte pongal|pesara papu pongal|ghee pongal|ven pongallhot pongal.
