Hot Process & Salting Out - Soap Bars from Used Cooking Oil 廃油から掃除用石けんを作る ホットプロセスと塩析で廃油の匂いゼロ！

廃油からホットプロセスと塩析で掃除用石けんを作りだして早10年。手荒れが酷かったので、主に皿洗いに使っています。何を使っても落ちない台所周りのベタベタした油汚れなど、この石けんで拭くとあっけなく落ちてしまうことも！出来上がって型入れの際に重曹など混ぜ合わせてもいいです。
It has been 10 years since I started making cleaning soap bars with hot process and salting out using the used cooking oil. I mainly use these to wash dishes, but these soap bars do a great job removing sticky, greasy cooking mess that no other commercial cleaner could remove. It is a good idea to add baking soda at the end before molding!

ピーナッツ油（廃油）1547g
ごま油（酸化した油）70g
苛性ソーダ　225g
水（フィルター水で十分）727g
**塩析一回目**
水（フィルター水）油の1.5倍
精製塩　油の20％
**塩析二回目**
水　油と同量
精製塩　油の15％

Water 45% of oil weight
Peanuts Oil 1547g
Sesame Oil 70g
NaOH 225g
Filtered Water 727g
**1st Salting Out**
Filtered Water 1.5 times of total oil weight
Iodized Salt 20% of oil weight
**2nd Salting Out**
Filtered Water same amount with oil weight
Iodized Salt 15% of oil weight

綺麗な油を使って、苛性ソーダを普通にディスカウントさせたホットプロセス石けんを作るなら塩析は必要ありません。マッシュポテト状態になったら、型入れして、固まったらすぐ使えます。 今回のこの石けんの塩析の目的は、苛性ソーダの過剰分と廃油の不純物、匂いを取り除くのが目的です。

Hi Good video What is the meaning of 2% lye Caustic is take in excess? If it's possible to make like gel

The reason for 2% excess lye is that I want to make sure all the stinky used cooking oil to be saponified. And I take excess lye knowing that I am salting out later on to remove it. If you want gel soap, you will have to use KOH, and I am not too familiar with it

What iodized salt? Like kitchen salt or nacl?

Sodium chloride! Use normal table salt that is very inexpensive. Don’t have to use nice sea salt, since it’s expensive, and I am not sure how it reacts.

I usually eye ball it. I would say around 1 to 2 cups (US) per 1500g of oil!

@@user-dq7ry1hm6l I tried the salting out but the salt water and the soup wouldn't get separated. I end up boiling it for 4 hrs and cooled it off, but the soap just gets pasty and no liquid left. what should I do :(

@@user-dq7ry1hm6l I used 2000g soybean oil, 265g lye. made soap (turned out just like yours) then i tried salting out with 3000g water, 450g salt. and i dont get any separations. Everything just became really heavy paste. 😕 maybe i will try again
