I have a WHOLE strap of sequential NOT circulated $5 STAR notes. It is the BEST find I have ever come away with from a bank. I asked for a strap of $5s and that is what they gave me.

I got 140 ish uncirculayed $5 star notes sequential from the atm a few months ago no clue how to determine the value other than my currency lookup said they were less rare. Any suggestions that could help?

I have one question, what if people are getting the star notes and actually putting three at a time on a paper cutting board and cutting one side of it like the one that you showed that had 3 “5 dollar bills “ on the right side was cut too close. What if it wasn’t cut that way and a individual cut it that way to give it more value? That could be the case correct? Or that could be a possibility am I correct? We don’t know if all of those bills that was cut on the sheet cut that close, am I correct? So individual that gets three sequential bills that are star notes can put them on a cutting board and cut every single one of them perfectly to make it an uneven cut to bring more value to the star note, that’s a possibility correct? So if people like us are seeing this on eBay, and they are star notes which people are going to start buying star notes because they are discontinuing them, a individual can get his star notes that he had before and cut it perfectly and make us think it was an error in the first place?we also have to take a look at that as well right?

All bills should be the same length. If someone cuts them down, it would be shorter and should be a give away that they cut it. I guess you would have to buy it first and compare it to other notes to know for sure since it would be hard to tell from a picture.

Mint errors are decidedly different than BEP star notes. No real connection except they're both "government work "
