Great video thank you! Just got a set of these for my Typhon 3S and was getting a migraine trying to mount these. Actually replacing my Pro Lines, they're GREAT shocks but aren't bulletproof, they bend and break just like any other shocks if you bash hard enough. I'm sure professional racers would disagree but I've found these $50-$60/full set big bore shocks work nearly as well anyway. I found it easier, more reliable and somewhat cheaper to just swap a whole new set of shocks and go bash. Not saying that Prolines aren't worth it, just saying there's definitely cheaper alternatives and methods.

They are great 👍 but have there quirks. I would look at different springs that are more consistent though. You can see that video on the channel. I still haven't had a chance to fully test them yet, but thats upcoming.

Pretty sure those 2 clear o rings are for rebuilding the shock. There is 2 inside the bottom of the shock. The the black one is for the spring adjuster. That what I guessing anyway. If I knew forsure I wouldn't be watching videos

Quick question, would these also work with a 4x4 slash?
@TheBlueberry606 Жыл бұрын
Yes, as long as you get the right lengths. My slash uses 90mm up front and 105mm out back.

Which one do you think is better the proline or this one?
@TheBlueberry6062 жыл бұрын
Even though i haven't used the Proline yet, alot has to do with budget and use case. If I could have afforded the Prolines, I would have bought them. I think the prolines have a better spring assortment and spare parts availability.

Hey, do the Traxxas springs fit on these shocks? Thanks!
@TheBlueberry6063 жыл бұрын
As my video states, the springs recomended for these shocks are made for the traxxas shocks, so they might be snug, but will probably work. I'll have to trie mine and find out and I'll post

What are the two black o rings for?
@TheBlueberry6063 жыл бұрын
Those are replacements for the preload spacer if needed. It holds the nut in place and prevents it from moving so easily.

@@TheBlueberry606 those black O rings are if you want to run them as emulsion shocks. You remove the bladder and use the O rings to seal the cap. I have a set on my 4-Tec.
