This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I teach high school English and show the riot scene when my students read “Animal Farm,” and we use it to analyze mob mentality. Introducing the younger generation to this movie is one of the most important parts of my job!

This movie is so good. Definitely a little ahead of its time and had so many (now) amazing comedic actors cutting their teeth. 5/5 for me personally.

It’s crazy because I had no idea who Samberg was until I watched this channel. I don’t watch a lot of movies, and “parody rap” honestly pisses me off, but I’ve been a stan of his wife since she started making music when I was in high school. Hell I just paid $500 to fly to see her for one hour.

Yeah, he's married to Joanna Newsom; they're part of my theoretically favorite celebrity double couple with Paul Thomas Anderson and Maya Rudolph. There's so much overlap between those four people that I cannot wait for Andy Samberg to show up in a PTA movie. Popstar Never Stop Never Stopping involves a lot of the same people as Hot Rod and it may be even better. Not quite as Wet Hot American Summer-y as Hot Rod. More conventional but also probably more consistently funny.
