It's happening, a full restoration the towers a rebuilt now and more is currently under construction. This hotel is History and we are so happy to still be able to enjoy it. We love the Arlington Hotel and return evey year.

Well, it's too bad you came when you did. The Arlington is undergoing Major renovations, inside and out. The "pandemic" nearly destroyed a lot of large businesses and just smashed a lot of small ones. The Arlington is a strong Lady and she will recover, she just needed some work. Just like ALL us old folks do from time to time. Surgery is painful and sometimes recovery takes a while but we usually come out better than before. Come back in a couple of years when she's got all her new clothes on.

I just moved from Hot Springs. I thought it was pretty awesome back in the mid 90s when I moved there. The Arlington is supposed to be going through a major renovation to what it was back in its hay day. I think the rooms will always be small like most hotels back in that time but the new owners are promising to shine her up again.

I live in Hot Springs and my Mom was a housekeeper there but I've never been past the lobby. Every time I see a video that has this hotel, the halls remind me of The Shining

I worked thare as a cook twice. I live in Little Rock now. I can tell you some stories about the Arlington. The Capone suite is supposed to be haunted. I remember before the Majestic hotel which was owned by the same owners at the time burned down,security guards hated doing rounds in the empty building because they would hear noises inside. It could have been homeless people.

I worked in Hotel Hot Springs for awhile and if you go onto the 13th floor ( yes 13 ), go to the end of the hallway, there's a sitting area with a great view. If you had gotten a room across the hall from the one you got, there's a great view there as well

I used to go to Hot Springs every spring in the 90s. The Arlington was past it's prime back then. I always stayed at Willow Beach condos on the lake. But I liked to hang out in the Arlington lobby with my dogs.

I love Hot Springs, and plan on buying a vacation condo there next year. There is a lot of history there. I have stayed at the Arlington many times, and is kinda rough, but it is part of history. It is old, so rooms are small, but the location is awesome. I am hoping they restore it totally. So much of our history is being destroyed now days. My family is from Hot Springs, so I also have history there. I can see why the person can not stand the way you call Arkansas, AR Kansas, because I have lived in Arkansas and Kansas, it is disrespectful to our beautiful state. Personally, to each his own. It does not ruffle my feathers. Mob life and people is highly part of American history and still is.

I remember, Arkansas changed me real quick. I went here from texas with my family meeting my distance relatives from Missouri . Seen the most beautiful girl turned out it was my cousin.

Happy new year to you Spa Guy and Lori, it is good to do nice thing's together even after 35 years of marriage. It looks like the Arlington needs an upgrade, they should make the rooms lighter and outside make a garden instead of that view, it was depressing. You see Arkansas is mentioned in the Bible. "Noah looked out of the Ark and saw". This is the first time I've seen your wife in your videos. She's really cute. You're fortunate to have her. The problem out here in the south west with natural hot springs like in the Palm Springs area is people strip naked out in the open in front of everyone. No I haven't experienced that nor went to those places but I have a friend who does that. I'm like why can't you wear your damn swim suit?

So, we TRIED to stay in 2021. We rented the Capone Suite, but the clowns rented it out to somw guy who wanted to stay there for several days, right our from under us. We were PISSED. We decided to amkw due and stay, but every room they ketp taking us into was disgusting. Everything was civered in mold. The bathrubs all had major leaks. The bedding was filthy, and oue doors wouldnr open or close correcrtly. Then they offered to move us to the "recenrty updated" rooms... They took us to a room, and they had already rented it out, but from what we saw, it wasnt much better at all. The beds looked newer and the curtains were cleaner, but it still stunk, and the bathroom was still kind of gross. We ended up asking for our money back, and the manager peomosed us a free stay when rennovations were done, but we never heard anything back when we contacted them. They should shut it all down until ita done being rennovated. Its a shame, b.c we were so excited to stay there. The place is run very poorly.
