Thank you Rob. A great plane only has value if a great pilot educates you about it.

Hi. Help me to understand, please. 10-th stage after takeoff: you performed ALIR transition, but official devs procedures says it has to be RILA. 10-th stage before landing: you performed LARI transition, but official devs procedures says it has to be ALIR. Where's the truth?

It would have been nice to have the bleed diagram open during the packs transition so we could see what the actions do in the system, and WHY we have that transition profile.

Hi Rob! I notice that on the ATS mode panel you have "DESCENT" indicated. When coming down, my indication is always "SPEED". Can you explain why this is? Tx!

Wow great catch Gilles, I do not normally use this mode, I mostly used to make the video. I started at flight level 200, set the Alt Sel down to 8000 feet. And then pressed FLC. Immediately the aircraft starts descending, the target speed is 250 kts. There’s probably some way to adjust the speed, however in real life this would certainly be just too slow for a Descent. I would normally descend in speed mode as you do. However FLC provides a more automatic approach to descent management.
