A1 and A1A was focused on Kanto Celebi EX is the only one Johto Pokèmon in the game at the moment. Celebi EX is also the only EX Pokèmon that is not from Kanto. It would be really strange if A2 wasn't focused on Johto... And honestly I would also be a little "disappointed" because I love the second generation of Pokémon more than any other and I can't wait for it to be added to the game.

I FINALLY GOT THE 5-STREAK! I decided to record my progress through this challenge because I wanted to demonstrate how insanely unlucky I can be. I used the Mewtwo EX deck that was in your 'best decks' video that you made yesterday, since you said it was the most consistent, which I'm pretty sure it is. The only difference was that I used an X-speed instead of the second Potion. Also, before game 71, I decided to switch out the Jynx for Mew EX, and it felt SIGNIFICANTLY better to play with. That's probably why I got the 5-streak soon after. Brief summary of what happened: Total number of games I played: 92. Wins: 50 Losses: 41 Ties: 1 Full record of what happened: Day 1. Game: 1 - Victory 2 - Defeat 3 - Victory (via concede). 4 - Victory (Jynx clutch against Charizard EX!) 5 - Defeat (I should've stalled until I drew the Sabrina so that I could force his Druddigon out of the active spot, instead of attacking the Druddigon with Mewtwo EX, causing it to take 20 damage, putting it at 130 HP, which is Golem's lethal range with Giovanni). 6 - Victory 7 - Defeat 8 - Victory 9 - Defeat 10 - Defeat 11 - Victory 12 - Victory (From now on, I'll make sure to place another Pokémon onto my bench if all the other Pokémon on the bench would be bad to have forced in by the opponent using Sabrina or Drive Off). 13 - Victory (My opponent played very poorly this game and I had multiple misplays, including using Professor's Research instead of Giovanni when the opposing Pokémon could've been knocked out). 14 - Victory (My first 4-streak). 15 - Defeat 16 - Defeat 17 - Defeat Day 2: Game: 18 - Victory (I made another misplay. This time I played Professor's Research instead of Sabrina to knock out the benched Joltik. Thankfully it worked out). 19 - Victory (I made the misplay of not using Potion on my Gardevoir when it was in knock-out range via my opponent using Sabrina into poison + attack from Wheezing). 20 - Defeat 21 - Victory 22 - Victory 23 - Defeat 24 - Defeat 25 - Defeat 26 - Victory 27 - Defeat (The lag was too long, so my timer ran out. If that didn't happen, I may've been able to win this game). 28 - Victory (This was the third dark deck used by my opponent in a row, of course). 29 - Defeat 30 - Victory (via concede). 31 - Defeat 32 - Victory 33 - Defeat 34 - Victory 35 - Victory 36 - Victory 37 - Victory (My second 4-streak). 38 - Defeat Day 2 continued, after taking a break: Game: 39 - Victory 40 - Defeat (I made the mistake of thinking I had 1 point because the opponent's Druddigon wasn't in the active spot anymore. Turns out I didn't, my opponent had just used Leaf to switch it out, which I'd forgotten. Because of this, I didn't win the game when I later knocked out the opposing Pidgeot EX, allowing their Mew EX to come in and finish off my Mewtwo EX). 41 - Victory 42 - Victory 43 - Defeat (In future, against a Mew EX, I should prioritise playing both Ralts instead of both Mewtwo EX). 44 - Victory (Via concede, probably because it's a fighting Deck). 45 - Victory (Via concede. Another fighting deck). 46 - Defeat 47 - Defeat 48 - Victory 49 - Victory 50 - Defeat (Third psychic-using opponent in a row, of course). 51 - Defeat 52 - Victory 53 - Tie (Via Druddigon, lol). 54 - Victory 55 - Victory 56 - Defeat 57 - Defeat 58 - Defeat 59 - Defeat 60 - Victory 61 - Defeat 62 - Victory 63 - Victory 64 - Victory (My first 3-streak). 65 - Defeat (Opponent was using a non-meta deck where the only basics they put out were Shellder, Golduck, and the old Magikarp. Of course, they still won because they went Misty, into 5 heads, into Gyarados EX the very next turn after playing the Magikarp). Day 3: Game: 66 - Victory 67 - Victory 68 - Defeat (Made the misplay of feeding the Jinx I had in the active spot and attacking with it, instead of using X-Speed to switch the Jynx out for my Mewtwo EX, feeding the Mewtwo EX, and attacking with it, knocking out the opposing Mewtwo EX. It didn't matter that my opponent had both Gardevoir and Mew EX on their bench because their Mew EX didn't have any energy, so it wouldn't have been able to attack on my opponent's next turn). 69 - Defeat 70 - Victory 71 - Victory (From this game onwards, I'm using Mew EX instead of the Jynx to see how it feels in comparison. There are a multitude of reasons why I think it might be better. In this case, I was able to tank two heads from an opposing Celebi EX, as well as an attack from Exeggutor EX, without Mew EX being knocked out. This won me the game. If I had Jynx instead, they would've just knocked it out, then I would've been forced to send in my Mewtwo EX, which they then knock out later with Celebi EX + Serperior). 72 - Victory (My second 3-streak. This game was another example of Mex EX being better than Jynx. In this game, my opponent knocked out my Mewtwo EX, forcing in my other Mewtwo EX. On my next turn, I drew Mew EX and played it in case they tried to use Sabrina to knock out my Gardevoir with their Articuno EX). 73 - Defeat (Another example of Mew EX being better than Jynx. My opponent won this game because they used Sabrina. If I had Mex EX on my bench, I'd just choose it after my opponent uses Sabrina and then their Starmie EX can't knock it out. Jynx doesn't have enough health for that). 74 - Victory (Another example of Mew EX being better because I could give it the 1 energy needed to knock out the opponent's Electrode). 75 - Victory 76 - Defeat (Another example of Mex EX being better than Jynx because my opponent won by flipping two heads with Celebi EX on their second turn. If I had Mew EX in my active spot, it could've tanked it). 77 - Defeat 78 - Defeat (Another instant Gyarados EX into Misty into 3 heads, of course). 79 - Defeat 80 - Victory 81 - Defeat 82 - Defeat 83 - Victory 84 - Defeat (I FINALLY encountered a situation in which Jinx would've been better than Mew EX, and that was against the new Tauros. I think this is the first time I've seen someone use it in this Emblem event). 85 - Victory 86 - Defeat 87 - Defeat 88 - Victory 89 - Victory 90 - Victory 91 - Victory 92 - Victory (Made one final misplay, this time it was not playing the second Mewtwo EX. This made my first Mewtwo EX, which was the one I was giving energy to, very susceptible to Sabrina. Of course, my opponent then immediately proceeded to use Sabrina. This, combined with a lucky knockout that my opponent got by using Giovanni on their next turn, almost made me lose this game).

@@jacobwansleeben This is a great way to look at your own game play only advise I would give would be slow down and not count on 1 path - I.e jinx or mew- sometimes it's very situational sometimes you need to pivot from one to the other I try to concentrate on 2 things .. what can I do and what will they do if I do that. This helps me make my decision ... I say this to help not critisize

@ Thanks, but I don't really understand the advice you're trying to give me. For example, I don't think that it's wise to "slow down" since we only had 8 days to complete this event and I wanted my chances to be as high as reasonably possible. Also, I already try to always analyse all of my own options and how my opponent can respond to them (if at all). Also, I can't "pivot" between Jynx and Mew EX like you suggested since I only had one or the other in my deck at a time and I don't think it's a good idea to have both in my deck at the same time because then I'd have too many basic Pokemon in my deck.

johto doesn't have enough pokemon to fill the 280+ cards coming. So it could be johto with a mix of other gen pokemon. We Currently have pokemon from other generations outside of gen 1 and 2. Don't think it is that complicated. They can bring anything in they want but i think the main set will still be johto in terms of a complete set.

Well, I'm think is likely Lumiose City will be a miniset with an event related to the Advance Ticket, it would make more sense to place it at a Kalos (Gen VI) expansion so we might get one sooner then what people think (expecially those speculating expansions by Gen). Else it might also be a full "Legends series" set in between the generation sets people speculate about, maybe even as the last A main set depending how it fits in the rotation making it problably 3 (maybe 2) generations for year (I haven't seen anything about Z-A's release beyond 2025, so maybe an A3 in aprill/may or A4 in september/october).

In my opinion, the biggest deciding factor of what gen it is, is if there’s any Pokémon cards already existing, cos to me, the reason why I believed it was johto was that there are NO johto Pokémon cards right now except for celebi which in my opinion actually makes it more likely as it is a mythical and mew was also not included in the first set
