Having worked in the industry 35 years I feel you're all missing something here. If I were in charge of this bypass operation there would be a gauge at the the inlet, a gauge at the outlet and a gauge installed on the bypass. Lack of information is never a good thing. Performing this operation without the use of gauges would be like driving your automobile without a speedometer.. Please send me your thoughts on this matter.
